Crime Visits Small Virginia Town Evington, Virginia (AP): For the second time in as many years, crime has paid a visit to this small Virginia town nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Local authorities are baffled by the violent attack on and dismemberment of The Blue Monkey, resident of a local horse farm and companion to another of the farms residents, Sampson. Evington Police, speaking off record, say they are horrified by the violence seen at the crime scene and have no explanations or suspects in the senseless crime. "Strange things happen at that farm....we will never forget the rape and trampling death of The Blankey Fairy a couple years back." That crime was ultimately solved and the convicted killer, known only as "Amain", was subsequently adopted and left the farm. The Blue Monkey's companion, Sampson, is saddened and angry at whoever attacked his friend. "I'm a happy, friendly guy, but anybody who knows me knows you DO NOT want to piss me off. And I'm pissed off now". Local authorities confirm that Sampson remains a suspect in the crime, but can provide no motive. "He seems genuinely upset, but with his record and his being the last to see The Blue Monkey before the attack, we cannot rule him out at this time."
