Almata's boy, Luckymata ran at Hoosier Park on Saturday, 9/23. He was eased before the finish line. Does any one have info on his condition?

I contacted a person we know in Illinois who said she would ask around.
I have left a message for another person I know, and will try a third person that might also be able to help.

We heard that he eased himself out of the race. Not injured.
We are putting the word out that we would like to retire him to The Exceller Fund. Fingers crossed.

It appears that Luckymata has been retired from racing, and his trainer is looking for someone who would be interested in standing him as a stallion.
We have let the trainer know that The Exceller Fund can provide a home to Luckymata, but he would need to be gelded.

As announced in our updates, LUCKYMATA has been donated to The Exceller Fund by his owner. He will be going to Robin Hurst's Out2Pasture farm in Missouri. Robin specializes in helping Thoroughbreds adjust after the track and taking care of any ailments they may have.
Luckymata will be be evaluated and then scheduled for surgery to be gelded. We don't know yet if Luckymata will be sound enough for riding, or if he will be a pensioner for life. He should be going to his new home in about a week.

Any updated news on Luckymata at his new home? Your last post was January 30? Thanks Bonnie,
