David's Shadow was adopted out a few years ago, but the family has suffered some hard times and can no longer keep David's Shadow (also called "Jules.") We need to find a reliable and affordable foster sitaution as quickly as possible, or find a loving family who will adopt him. We will adopt him out to the right home for a nominial adoption fee of $20. Jules is not sound for normal riding, but is fine with small kids on his back at a walk. His current adoptive family kids have riden him at a walk in the pasture, and his temperament is very calm and steady. I saw Jules in person a few years back when he was still at Bethlehem Farm in Paris, Kentucky. He is very loving and will follow you around like a puppy dog. He loves to be petted and fussed over, and he is a handsome gray/white color. Here's the page on David's Shadow - you can see what a sweetheart he is: www.excellerfund.org/horses/davids_shadow.htm He is currently located in Union Grove, Alabama. Any and all ideas are most welcome! mail@excellerfund.org

Wonderful news! Davids Shadow is fine! I spoke with his adoptive mom in January, and she was able to make some changes with her job and will be keeping "Jules." Yay!!!!
I have some wonderful photos to share with all of you. I have to upload them to Photobucket so I can post them in the thread and will be working on a lot of updates this weekend!

As promised, here is David's Shadow doing what he does best, being a real "people" horse. His adoptive mom expressed how much she realized she loves this horse. He means a lot to her two sons, and she is thankful to have him in her life. Yummy treats! David's Shadow teaches his young charge to have confidence. David's Shadow brightens the day for this little one. It's photos like that, that make this all worthwhile. Without YOUR support, David's Shadow may have met an ugly end back in 2002. It is hard to think about such a sweet natured soul going through the torture that awaited him.
