What if THE EXCELLER FUND earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can! GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter THE EXCELLER FUND as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to check out GoodSearch on JULY 11, 2007 as we are going to be featured as the Charity of the Day! That's right, The Exceller Fund will be the GoodSearch Charity of the day on 7/11. www.goodsearch.com

I am curious as to how we made out with the GoodSearch project. I used it all day as I was researching how to fix a plumbing problem and an electrical issue, as well as my usual browsing for news. I liked it! Can we still receive something if we continue to use it? Or was that only good for the day?

Correction to the above post...I found the drop-down box on the website to change charities. Nice idea!

The day that The Exceller Fund was the Charity of the Day on Goodsearch, the traffic to our website was 3 times higher than normal!
We did get some inquiries from people who had not heard of what had happened to Exceller, so it remains to be seen if we picked up any new donations.
Our Goodsearch earnings were at an all time high for July with over 2,500 searches. Our year to date earnings are now $111.83. I believe the checks are distributed in December.
